Getting ready to go back to the cleaners to resume painting. OYE, but it's almost over! Looks nice, a bit pinker than I'ld hoped. But it will be Chick central now!
Looking for a quick and easy French silk pie recipe. Little Matty turns 19 tomorrow, and that's what he asked for. Would you believe that there is no such recipe on Weight watchers.com for a French Silk pie??? Unbelievable. Found one, that say's it's quick and easy...we'll see! Not Weight watchers friendly, however! LOL
Quite the night last night with Matt's girlfriend rolling her car on Park street. She tried to avoid a bale of Hay that some farmer failed to see that he lost off his probably too overloaded load, or because he was going too fast or some other reason unimaginable to me. She swerved and braked but the loose gravel got her. We can't figure out if she actually rolled on the road surface, or rolled after she hit the ditch. The top of the car looks like she skidded down the road. She and her brother who were riding with her are physically alright. Luckily, because Ben made a comment about seeing other cars with much less damage that the people didn't walk away from. I was just thankful that Matt had met her at her mom's and was in his own truck behind her. After a trip to the hospital, the doctors said they were alright, which made me sleep better. The poor girl was so worried about 1) her brother, and then 2) about her dad being mad that she totaled the car. Kids just don't understand that as a parent our first reaction is THANK GOD my kids are alright.
Guardian angels....gotta have one!
Okay, time to go paint.....
