8:28 p.m. - 2004-03-21 Going to this convention with a woman my mothers age wasn't tooo bad. I really enjoyed talking to her...and thats what we did....every waking moment. Unfortunately, her memory isn't that great, and I found myself telling her things on the way home that she asked me on the way there....Luckily, it was only a short 1 hour drive tooo and from the convention. I was not lucky enough to be one of the people to recieve a gift from the Davenport-Bettendorf association trying to get us to vote for them to host the 2006 tournament. I could have knocked down this woman who won this lovely Tapestry bowling ball bag...and stole it from her....but alas, she was not carrying it when I had my gloves on to cover my tracks...I'm in love with that bag...and even tho I don't need one....Someday I will have one...someday when I win the jackpot! And speaking of Jackpots.....obiviously the Indians at Tama hate me as much as Polk County...I couldn't win with their slot machines either...but let me tell you, my next trip to Marshalltown in a little over a month....I'll have a few more quarters to shove down their little metal throats...somehow...someway....and maybe, just maybe...I'll win enough to steal me that bag!!!
